Procurement teams today must control costs, improve supply chain visibility, manage supplier relationships, and make faster purchasing decisions while adapting to changing business demands.
Yet many organizations still rely on spreadsheets, emails, disconnected systems, and manual approval processes that slow procurement operations and limit decision-making.
As a trusted Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner, inoday helps businesses modernize procurement, inventory management, supplier collaboration, and operational workflows through Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and enterprise automation solutions.
By connecting purchasing, finance, inventory, warehousing, and supplier data in a single platform, Business Central delivers end-to-end visibility across procurement operations.
Combined with Copilot, organizations can leverage AI-driven recommendations, intelligent insights, and purchasing automation to improve efficiency, strengthen supplier collaboration, and make smarter purchasing decisions faster.
Why Traditional Purchasing Processes Slow Business Growth
Many businesses continue to manage procurement through manual processes that create inefficiencies throughout the organization.
Common challenges include:
- Spreadsheet-based purchasing management
- Email-driven approval workflows
- Delayed supplier communication
- Manual purchase order creation
- Limited inventory visibility
- Disconnected ERP and procurement systems
- Procurement bottlenecks across departments
When procurement data is spread across multiple systems, purchasing teams spend more time collecting information than making decisions.
Organizations operating on legacy ERP environments often face additional challenges such as limited scalability, outdated reporting capabilities, and insufficient integration across business functions.
For businesses still operating on legacy systems, an upgrade from Dynamics NAV or a strategic NAV to Business Central migration can help eliminate these inefficiencies and establish a modern foundation for procurement automation.

- Control purchasing expenses
- Reduce spending overruns
This integrated approach helps organizations improve both operational efficiency and financial control.

One of the biggest procurement challenges is purchasing without accurate inventory information.

This allows buyers to make purchasing decisions based on real-time business data.

Instead of manually monitoring inventory levels, procurement teams can receive automated alerts when inventory reaches predefined thresholds.
Replenishment Recommendations
